I’m Cristina, a ceator, strategist, data enthusiast and gen z. I help startups grow through authentic, high-impact storytelling. 

 

I believe marketing is both science and art; a blend of understanding how people think and what truly moves them. My foundation in neuroscience taught me to notice patterns in human behavior, attention, and emotion. My work in social media and UGC marketing translates that understanding into creative, data-informed campaigns that actually convert.

Why Social Media? 

The way people consume content has changed. Permanently.

 

Traditional TV viewership is declining and attention has become the most valuable currency. For growing startups, that means one thing: if you want to be seen, you need to meet people where they already are - on social media.

 

Recent studies show that online media overtook linear television. In the U.S., cable network viewership dropped to 23.8 % of total TV (Cord Cutters News, 2024). People aren’t watching “appointment TV” anymore, they’re scrolling, creating, and engaging on digital platforms.

Over 5.41 billion people are active on social media (Medium, 2025). The average user spends more than 2 hours daily online (Digital Web Solutions, 2025). Social media ad spending has climbed to over $270 billion in 2025, up from just $19 billion in 2015 (BrandVM, 2025). This is where attention lives and where brands win or lose relevance.

 

Simultaneously, users are becoming more selective about what they engage with. 37 % of online users have blocked specific advertisers and 35 % have unfollowed brands due to ad fatigue (MarketingTech News, 2024). The message is clear: traditional ad formats are losing trust. That’s where authentic, data-driven storytelling makes all the difference.

Audiences crave connection and authenticity. That’s why User-Generated Content (UGC) has exploded. UGC, content created by real users rather than brands, consistently outperforms traditional advertising:

  • 93 % of marketers say UGC performs better than branded content (Whop, 2024).

  • 79 % of consumers report that UGC strongly influences their purchasing decisions (Keevee, 2024).

  • UGC ads receive 20–50 % more attention than brand-created posts (Goodway Group, 2024).

EDUCATION

Cristina has a Bachelor of Science in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Maastricht. Her education includes comprehensive knowledge on the human mind, cognition, behaviour, and the world of analytics and data driven interpretation. She graduated cum laude with an internationally equivalent 4.0 GPA and an 18 month long honour's project in cognitive neuroscience. She is now enrolled in a masters in Medicine at the University of Padova. But the world doesn't wait, businesses want to grow and consumers want to consume.
